Hi, I’m Felix Mokross.
I build high-quality web applications.

I studied Computer Science and Business Application Architectures in the Black Forest, Germany. Early on, I focused on applying my skills—gaining hands-on experience through an internship in the IT department of a chip manufacturer, working as a part-time software developer, and writing both my theses in collaboration with a software consultancy in Stuttgart.

After graduating, I relocated to Zurich, Switzerland, and began my career as a .NET software engineer at Zühlke. From day one, I worked in exciting and insightful customer projects, learning every day. I was fortunate to be surrounded by a strong, supportive network of software engineers. Some colleagues became my mentors—and even close friends. Within five years, I grew into the roles of development lead and software architect.

Today, I have over 10 years of professional experience. In recent years, I’ve specialized in frontend technologies, especially React. As a Lead Web Architect, I enjoy building high-quality web applications with a strong focus on user experience. At Zühlke, I am recognized as an expert in web development. I co-founded and established a React foundations course, now offered internally and to clients. I also serve as a People Lead, managing a team of web engineers and architects.

Outside of work, I enjoy running—it’s a great way to clear my mind. Right now, I’m training for the Zurich Marathon and enjoying the challenge that comes with it.
